Before joining the staff at the Church in Caronport, Jason served as the youth/young adult pastor and worship/young families pastor at White Rock Baptist Church for 8 years. Jason is passionate about using the arts as a tool for worship, unity, and discipleship in the life of the church. He also has a heart to journey with, encourage, equip and support families on their walk with Christ. He is humbled to be apart of a supportive leadership team that collectively wants the church family to thrive in Caronport. A passage of scripture Jason has found meaningful in this season is Philippians 2:3-4 that reminds us to, "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."
Jason has been married to Emily since 2013. They have 3 girls, Lily, Lucy and Layla. Outside of serving in ministry, you’ll most likely find Jason running around with (and after) his children, eating chicken wings, singing, playing games, and walking around.
